With regard to ideas from network members, Carmel Murphy from HR Solutions shared an experience about services companies she had contacted that did not return her calls and highlighted the importance of simply following up on enquiries.

Yes, the December meeting and dinner was informative and a lovely meal and much appreciated, so thanks to all involved.
I just want to clairify something in relation to tax incentives for rental property, which didn’t ring true at the time and I have since verified the situation — there isn’t any tax relief to the RENTER of Rural Renewal Tax Incentive property; under the Scheme the tax incentive goes to the purchaser of the unit for lease and he/she can offset it against rental income earned anywhere in the State. Unfortunate for those paying the rent!
Looking forward to 13th January.
