“Share contacts & grow your business”

On April 16th last, Leitrim County Enterprise Board hosted a course on drawing up and sending press releases that will be noticed above others.
Today, I read some useful advice from Adam Maguire on this very topic.
The Leitrim Business Network was established to exploit the power of business networking using LinkedIn. The network, in time, will also form a Leitrim business directory.
Leitrim Business Network Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the The Ramada Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo.
This site has been developed and is supported by Leitrim County Enterprise Board.

It’s great getting something published in the national papers, but don’t forget about the local papers too. I find they are often delighted to get a press release, and are especially likely to publish it if it’s accompanied by a digital photo.
Keep any contact names of Editors or Journalists for future reference, so that in future you can direct a press release to an individual rather just an editor@paper.ie address.
It’s also worth approaching the journalists you already know and asking them if they have ideas of other contacts who might be interested in what you are doing.
