Hi Patricia,
I’ve a cd business card and produced ones for other artists, as I see it a printed card gives a basic set of contact details and an impression of the “style” of the person/business. The cd cards enables me to show what I do. which being visual and interactive gets across what I’m about far better than I could ever do with just words. It is however a tool that must be used with discrimination as they are too expensive to hand out to people who just need your contact details. For your needs I would see it as being able to show potential clients the process that they need to undertake to become part of your website, and on that basis a useful tool to be able to leave someone with to mull over in their own time.

I agree with David with this one caveat — with the best of intentions to ‘take a look at it later’, the CD oft gets put aside, forgotten, and rediscovered during a clean up. The business card gives instant details and a sense of the person and the business.
Looking forward to viewing your website when it is up and running.
Good luck,
