Internet Marketing Course - March 27th

Workshop Objectives
• Allow participants to start generating website sales and leads within 24 hours.
• Demonstrate why most websites fail and how to solve this problem.
• Educate participants about all commercial and technical issues relating to Internet and email marketing activity.
• Practically demonstrate tools that allow participants apply new knowledge gained to improve their online business.
• Allow participants to overcome any fears they have regarding Internet marketing via hands-on training
• The workshop is most suited to small business owners and marketing managers.
• Intermediate PC skills are required. Owning a website is preferable.
This fast-moving programme for a max of 10 participants will be hands-on and involve considerable group participation and interaction. Questions and contributions will be actively encouraged.
The positive & developmental web experience of participants will be used to illustrate what works online.
Date: Thursday March 27th
Location: Leitrim County Enterprise Board
Time: 9am - 5.30pm

About this Site
The Leitrim Business Network was established to exploit the power of business networking using LinkedIn. The network, in time, will also form a Leitrim business directory.
Leitrim Business Network Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the The Ramada Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo.

The course yesterday was really brilliant. It is really terrible that the inovate programme is over, it has been such a help to so many people in buisness. The Leitrim buisness network is probably the best thing that has happened for Leitrim in the last years. I think we underestimate the potential value of it for buisness and the county as a whole, I think when Johnny goes it is going to be a big blow to the network, and may very well stump its growth. I just want to make a suggestion, that I hope will get the support of everyone involved in the network. If every buisness were to pay an annual membership fee of say €100, and ask Johnny to continue to work for the network even on a partime basis, it would be great for the network and also open the door to new oppurtunities eg. the network should be able to qualify for the skillnets grant which would provide courses for buisness. I believe without these courses we cannot keep our buisness up to date with all the latest tecnology. A Sligo woman told me a story the other day about bringing her teenage sons to Heatons sports in Carrick-on-Shannon, the joke in the car all the way up was, imagine going to Leitrim to shop.A strong buisness network will change the negative opinion a lot of people have of Leitrim. I am on holidays all next week, I hope its all good news when I come back.
