   FREE WEBSITE CREATOR

   I recently set up a website using Google Page Creator. It’s free and relatively simple to use for those of us without html knowledge. It’s fairly basic (e.g. no uploading of audio or video clips yet, though photos are easy) but they are adding features to it as time goes on.

   The templates are easy to use but you don’t get a lot of choice yet. The final product is pretty good and I imagine that you could come up with a pretty professional looking job with a bit of imagination and time.

   One word of warning - it took a few days for my site to appear in the Google search engine (you don’t get preferential treatment from Google just because you’re using their stuff). Once you’ve published your site you need to setup a few links to your mates’ sites/blogs to create a bit of traffic. The more traffic, the higher up the Google search page you’ll get.

   Take a look at my site and see what you think. Just google ‘moo ballinamore’ - it should be first on the page.

   Google Page Creator could save you a lot of money if you’re only looking for a simple website.
